Minimum Eligibility
  • Without taking any training, to sit for the CCISO exam, applicants must have 5 years of experience in each of the 5 CCISO domains verified by exam eligibility application.
  • After training to be eligible for the exam, applicants should have 5 years of experience in three of the five CCISO domains verified by the exam eligibility application.

Passing Criteria
  • To keep up the high integrity of certification exams, EC-Council Exams are provided in multiple forms. Each form undergoes an analysis via beta testing under the committee of SMEs that ensures that each of the exams holds real-world applicability. There is also a process to access the difficulty rating of each question. The individual rating then adds to a total Cut Score for each exam form. To make sure that each form has equivalent evaluation standards, cut scores are based on a “per exam form” basis. Based on which exam form is challenged, cut scores can range from 60% - 85%.
